Job Description

Assist in providing accounting and administrative duties to the accounting team in Accounts Payable function. The role requires the candidate to be organized, have a keen eye for details, and preferably experience in processing progress claims from vendors in the construction industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure vendors’ invoices are checked appropriately to the supporting documents and recorded into the system accurately and timely.
• Ensure Statement of Accounts are received from vendors and monthly reconciliation is performed to identify irregularities.
• Keeping track of all cheques issued out and maintain petty cash reports.
• Assist in the review of payments to vendors.
• Preparing monthly Accounts Payables reports as required by management.
• Assist in preparing documents and answer queries required by external auditors in the yearly financial audit.
• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries by vendors or Project Managers.
• All other ad-hoc administrative duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to communicate articulately and work efficiently with all levels internally and externally.
• Receptive and highly adaptable to process changes.
• Keen eye for details and ability to manage expectations and prioritize work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $2,800.00 per month
