Job Description
A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a home or establishment. They perform various tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, as well as cleaning surfaces, furniture, and fixtures. Additionally, they may be in charge of washing and ironing clothes, organizing closets and storage areas, and changing bed linens. Housekeepers may also handle grocery shopping and meal preparation, and occasionally assist in pet care or childcare.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and physical stamina are essential for this position. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently. Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
