Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing (Shipbuilding)
Position Title: Mechanical Service Engineer
Working Location: Jurong East
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)
Salary Package: Basic salary up to $3,200 + Variable Bonus + OT
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and components for marine applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems on vessels and offshore structures.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure mechanical systems function properly and adhere to safety standards.
- Work alongside senior engineers to enhance mechanical systems for optimal performance and efficiency.
- Contribute to the creation of project specifications, documentation, and technical reports.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to work on a vessel
