Job Description

1. Logistics Planning and Coordination

  • Develop and implement logistics plans for efficient transportation and distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers for smooth supply chain operations.
  • Optimize shipment schedules for timely delivery and cost reduction.

2. Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess.
  • Maintain accurate records and forecast demand for timely replenishment.
  • Implement control procedures to minimize waste and losses.

3. Transportation Management

  • Select and manage transportation providers for reliable delivery services.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
  • Track shipments for timely delivery and issue resolution.

4. Process Improvement

  • Analyze processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Conduct reviews, audits, and corrective actions as needed.

5. Stakeholder Communication

  • Liaise with stakeholders for smooth logistics operations.
  • Provide updates on shipment status and address concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with teams to align strategies with objectives.

6. Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with transportation and logistics regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all activities.
  • Prepare reports on performance and KPIs for management.
