Job Description
Location: Teck Whye Minimart, Singapore
Position: Cashier
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (5.5 days per week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at Teck Whye Minimart. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Scan goods and collect payments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
- Redeem stamps and coupons.
- Handle cash register and ensure all transactions are accounted for correctly.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Customer satisfaction-oriented.
