Job Description
A Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in the healthcare industry by assisting pharmacists in dispensing medication and providing excellent customer service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for accurately preparing prescription orders, maintaining patient records, and managing inventory.
Your main duties will include receiving and verifying prescriptions, counting and packaging medication, labeling containers, and ensuring all necessary information is documented. You will also communicate with patients to provide medication instructions and answer any questions they may have.
To excel in this position, you need to have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician or completion of a pharmacy technician training program is required.
