Job Description:
The Clinical Coder is responsible for translating patients’ medical diagnoses, operations, and procedures into codes using an international classification system. This role ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of coding while managing an individual workload.
Requirements:
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Nursing / Paramedical / Health Science
- Clinical experience in acute ward settings or related fields
- Able to perform precise and detailed work
- Knowledge of ICD classification systems is an advantage
- Proficient in Excel with basic statistical skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team
