Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the kitchen’s P&L and annual budget
- Design and implement all procedures / processes whenever applicable to the kitchen’s operations
- Coordinate the kitchen’s operations with all front end and back end teams wherever applicable, in order to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow between all positions
- Define the culinary territory of the brand with its positioning
- Define and update the kitchen equipment and materials
- Responsible to recruit, train, retain and develop the human resources of the kitchen
- To manage and optimize all the food supply
- Responsible to manage the food & beverage items (raw materials) database in the information systems for the raw materials
- Optimize the operation costs and the purchase costs related to the kitchens in all countries
- Responsible to build and propose for approval the annual budget for the kitchen
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager on the retail pricing
- Assist HR regarding the implementation of guidelines for disciplinary actions to be taken in the kitchen
- Identify talents, Management of career paths and management of development programs when appropriate
- Disseminate, based on the tools provided by general management and / or HR, all information defined in the internal communication plan
