Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team specializing in ship repairs. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical repairs and installations on various types of ships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrical inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Developing repair plans and coordinating electrical repair projects
- Supervising a team of electrical technicians and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ship electrical systems and repairs
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
