Roles & Responsibilities:

The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for recommending sales order, replenishment of stocks in the retail outlet, and building good working relationships with store personnel in assigned Supermarket stores.

Job Description:

• Daily visit Supermarket/Grocery outlets in assigned area, provide excellent service, and enhance good customer relationships to secure orders for all products.
• Ensure all products are well merchandised with adequate stock levels following the planogram and secondary displays.
• Liaise and coordinate with store staff for product ordering.
• Ensure prompt setup of promotional displays, update POS materials, and pricing displays correctly and in the right promotion window.<
• Implement FIFO to ensure product freshness and regularly check for near-expired stocks to minimize trade returns.
• Provide regular feedback on sales performance, store and display issues, and competitor activities to Sales Representative.
• Support Management Team in conducting distribution audits and perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Secondary education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of merchandising preferred.
