Job Description

We are currently seeking suitable candidates for the position of Electrical Engineer at MWE ENGINEERING PTE LTD, who are eager to contribute to the Clean Energy sector, specifically in Decarbonisation areas such as Battery Energy Storage, Hybrid, and Photovoltaic Systems.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with the Technical Management Unit on Electrical Systems Engineering Work, including Battery Energy Storage, Hybrid, and Photovoltaic Systems.
- Perform Electrical Systems sizing and system engineering design for various applications.
- Create standard/optimized designs for Utility, Commercial & Industrial, Marine/Oil & Gas ESS solutions, and strategies for customers.
- Determine capacity and power requirements, design battery management systems, and ensure safety.
- Work with vendors and solution providers to select suitable equipment and products for project applications.
- Prepare engineering drawings, including layouts and schematics.
- Prepare documents, costings, and proposal submissions of engineering equipment and services for new projects.
- Assume the role of project engineer for Battery Energy Storage, Hybrid, Photovoltaic Systems, etc. when necessary.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of installed components.
- Assist with all other Energy Transition related project tasks.
- Perform ESS installation maintenance and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma/Degree.
- Current enrollment or previous experience in Electrical systems, battery systems, or similar relevant field.
- Experience and knowledge in Inverter/converter, battery storage systems, and microgrid applications.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
