Job Description
An exciting AVP – Risk Management Specialist job has just become available at one of the reputable digital banks in Singapore.
About the AVP – Risk Management Specialist Role:
In this role, you will be in the 1.5 line of defence and ensure that the business risk management aligns with the regulator’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a strong risk awareness on the escalations of potential risks to the bank
- Carry out the review of enhanced due diligence, periodic reviews on high-risk new and existing customers
- Provide training on KYC/AML processes to the business and stakeholders
- Initiate recommendations and proposals for enhancements and workflows
To succeed in this AVP – Risk Management Specialist role, you must have at least six to eight years of experience in risk management.
Key Requirements:
- Degree holder with related experiences in AML within a financial institution
- Familiar with MAS regulations particularly in FCC
- Independent, team player and able to work under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
