Job Description
As a Bids Manager in the Defense & Security industry, you will take on the responsibility of managing and coordinating the bidding process for various defense and security projects. Your role will involve analyzing project requirements, developing bid strategies, and preparing comprehensive bid proposals to secure new contracts for the organization.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and legal, to gather all necessary information for creating compelling bid responses. In addition to ensuring that bids are compliant with all requirements, you will conduct market research and competitor analysis to gain a competitive edge.
This position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be responsible for articulating the organization’s capabilities, value proposition, and differentiators in the bid documents.
