Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a QS Engineer cum Purchaser. In this role, you will be responsible for both quantity surveying and procurement tasks, ensuring the efficient and effective management of resources for our projects.
As a QS Engineer, your main duties will include evaluating project costings, preparing tender documents, and conducting cost analysis. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate budgets, cost control, and timely completion of projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining good relationships with vendors.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of procurement practices are essential for this position. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also required to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
