Job Description

We are looking to onboard an Executive Assistant to assist the CEO and General Manager. Galaxy is a subsidiary of the Australian listed company, Steadfast. We are insurance brokers and the brand was established since 1982.

Objectives of the Role:

  • Assist and communicate with executives in program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management in the businesses, performing an array of administrative tasks from managing & coordinating appointments to assisting in preparing presentations for meetings.
  • Following up with insurers/clients on behalf of the CEO & GM
  • Organising company events.
  • Handle ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
  • Assist and support claims function.
  • Assist and support policy renewals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with attention to detail
  • Proficient in the various MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) and familiarity with social media platforms
  • A team player with a cheerful and positive work attitude
  • Ability to start work immediately is an advantage
  • Past insurance experience would be beneficial.
