Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
- Monitoring of adequate implementation and performance of inspection Tests Plans (ITP’s) by Subcontractors.
- Developing and monitoring of Non Conformance reports (NCR’s).
- Monitoring and verification of Corrective actions applied (CAR’s).
- Ensuring up-to-date inspection record files are maintained. Verifying documents for completeness and initiating corrective actions if required through the field superintendent.
- Teaching people involved in training program the knowledge assigned to the respective disciplines.
- Providing assistance to discipline superintendents and supervisors on interpretation of quality requirements.
- Assisting the project field engineer in day-to-day quality control and assurance matters.
- Assisting the pre-commissioning team in the definition of the pre-commissioning systems and the preparation of detailed component lists for each system.
- Assisting the field scheduling engineers in the preparation of pre-commissioning schedules and the follow-up on progress in pre-commissioning.
- Maintaining up-to-date status on tests and inspections performed.
- Preparing specific data/reports from their activity/area in order to be included in the Monthly Quality Report.
- Compiling and reviewing the documentation that shall be included in the ‘Final Quality Dossier’ for the different work units.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years relevant experience in a similar field.
