Job Description

While other insurers place a large emphasis on the product development phase to deliver new products to bring to market, Income recognises that a high priority must also be placed on our customers’ claims experience. We look for our Claims team to be vigilant, principled and efficient. The successful candidate will be attached to the Property & Casualty Commercial Line claims section which handles claims such as WICA, Public Liability & Property damage claims.

  • Acknowledge and promptly register new claims received
  • Upload & file both soft & hardcopy mail and follow up documents
  • Printing of various monthly & adhoc reports
  • Reconciliation of internal claims data against Regulatory reports
  • Assist the claims team in other administrative tasks such as the printing of letters, sending AR registered mail, etc
  • Update recovery receipts into the system, liaise with appointed debt collectors to reconcile receipts, create debit notes & update Finance Department on recovery matters
  • Any other tasks as assigned

Qualification:

  • Minimum A levels or Diploma in any discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative work
  • Those with BCP, ComGI certification or have previous experience in an Insurance related industry will have an added advantage
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and collaborative individual with good communication and interpersonal skills
