Job Description
As an In-situ Machinist, you will play a critical role in our organization by performing precision machining on-site at client locations. This position requires a strong knowledge of machining techniques and the ability to operate a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
Your responsibilities will include setting up and operating the required machinery, as well as analyzing work orders and blueprints to determine specifications, tooling, and materials needed. You will be working closely with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of the machined parts.
In addition to technical skills, a successful In-situ Machinist must possess excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure. You should be highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machinist
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with in-situ machining techniques is preferred
- Strong knowledge of machine tools and equipment
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
