Job Description
Location: Near the Cape Town Airport
Salary: ±R35,00 per month negotiable for the right candidate
- Responsible for the supervision of the Debtors & Creditors function
- Management of the Deal Discounting Position
- Daily cashbooks for all companies
- General Administration & bookkeeping
- Cashflow Management
- Monthly processing of standard journal entries
- Analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Maintain/update the Fixed Asset Register to track depreciation entries
- Maintain/update the Vehicle Amortization schedules
- Oversee/process the Petty cash entries in the GL
- Prepare and distribute Monthly Management Accounts/Packs
- Maintain/update the insurance policy
- Assist with Statutory returns, eg preparation of VAT
- Resolution of queries
Educational Requirements: Bachelors in Accounting
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of accounting processes and principles
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a fair knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Good knowledge of accounting packages, Pastel will be a preferred option
- Basic knowledge of deal management packages
