Job Description
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team. As a Fund Accountant specializing in Real Estate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for our real estate investment funds.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing daily reconciliations of cash and positions for multiple real estate funds
- Calculating the net asset value (NAV) of funds on a monthly basis
- Preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards
- Assisting in audit preparations and responding to auditors’ queries
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in real estate or private equity
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (US GAAP)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
