Job Description
A Technical Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers. They must possess strong technical skills and knowledge in their field of expertise to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
The main responsibilities of a Technical Service Engineer include:
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, and networking systems.
- Documenting customer issues, resolutions, and maintaining a knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues and improve product quality.
