Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Caladan, you will be part of a team responsible for owning a business area or application end to end. Your work will have a direct impact on the team’s success. Experience in trading on blockchain is beneficial, with a focus on conscientiousness, logic, and openness to new ideas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design, build, test, and deploy proprietary software
- Develop trading simulators and analytics tools
- Handle large-scale data management and visualization systems
- Automate tasks using scripting tools
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in software development, with an interest in trading or blockchain
- Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or C++
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of network programming, websockets, REST interfaces, and agile development
