Job Description
Responsibilities
- To interpret technical drawing and perform welding or machining processes to produce work pieces.
- To operate welding and cutting machines, including measuring tasks.
- To set up and operate welding and cutting equipment based on drawing specifications.
- To oversee bending and welding/cutting processes.
- To guide operators and provide basic instructions for Welding/Cutting/Deburring.
- To troubleshoot non-conformance issues and provide corrective actions.
Quality
- To maintain good Cutting/Welding Machine housekeeping (6S) and ensure compliance with company best practices.
- To uphold workplace health and safety regulations in production areas.
Administration
- To manage bending/Cutting/Welding documentation and update records.
- To collaborate with production team and other departments, focusing on teamwork and Laser inspection targets.
Ad-hoc Duties
- To handle Welding, Cutting, Machining tasks, or other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Min. Secondary/ITE-NTEC/Diploma in PE/ME/Mfg/Mechatronics or related field.
- Welding certifications in GRAW, GMAW, TIG, FCAW.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Able to interpret technical drawings and possess machining knowledge.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
