Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
- Handle full set of accounting record for the Company
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance of statutory requirements and company policies
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform month-end closing and variance analysis (revenue and expenses)
- Reconcile general ledger and other assigned accounts
- Responsible for accounts receivables and customer collection
- Monitor cashflow and verify daily/batch payments for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Assist in annual budget and quarterly forecast
- Prepare payroll and related statutory submissions
- Main contact person for external audit, tax computation, and banking facilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal company policies
- Handle ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE
Academic:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent
Experience & knowledge:
- CPA/ACCA holders; those currently in the program will be considered
- At least three (3) years of accounting/full-set experience
- Experience and knowledge in freight forwarding business preferred
- Hand-on experience with CargoWise One preferred
Attribute:
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced skills in Excel and Windows
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- A true team player who can work well independently
