Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading a team of AP team.
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of the AP department.
- Reviewing and approving invoices.
- Resolving escalated issues or discrepancies with vendors, internal stakeholders, or team members.
- Monitoring payment schedules and ensuring timely payment processing.
- Providing training and guidance to AP staff on processes, systems, and best practices.
- Assisting with audits and compliance reviews related to AP functions.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly GST schedules and responding to information requests by tax authority.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, professional qualifications would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting with Accounts Payable knowledge would be an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of GST rules and applications.
- Meticulous and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive working attitude and excellent problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
