Job Description

As part of planning for our expansion, we are looking for talented individuals to strengthen the senior management team and lead the Federation in the future economy.

Job Overview

The Assistant Director of the Centre for Workplace Development (AD/CWD) will report to the Senior Director of the CWD and be part of the CWD leadership team responsible for effectively delivering Workplace Grants and Programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise leadership and performance management as a people manager
  • Assist the Senior Director in ensuring that CWD delivers its commitments and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within budget and on time
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to identify emerging workplace issues and propose solutions.
  • Complete government tender documents, including budgeting and risk assessment, if needed

Qualifications

  • A recognized Degree holder
  • Familiarity with workplace grants, programmes, and tripartite initiatives would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a people manager role
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
