Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Join the centre staff in receiving and sending off children during receiving and pickup time (supervised by trained staff) but should not be allowed to communicate directly with parents
- Assist in the execution of routine care duties e.g. feeding/meal time, diapering/toileting, bathing/washing, sleeping/napping
- Assist in the preparation of learning activities, teaching aids, and learning corners
- Assist in cleaning/disinfecting of resources/toys
- Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activity plans for the class assigned. May be allowed to carry out the activity plans with the supervision of mentor teacher
- Assist in documenting observation of children or activities while carrying out activities with children
- Upkeep professionalism during the course of work by:
a) Maintaining strict confidentiality about the children
b) Taking pride in your personal grooming
c) Adhering to the code of conduct at all times
d) Performing any other ad-hoc projects/duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Obtained Fundamental in Early Childhood Education Certification
