Job Description
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
NTUC LearningHub (LHUB™) was corporatised on 1 August 2004. Initially set up in 1982 as the NTUC Computer Training Centre, a division under the Skills Development Department of the NTUC Administration and Research Unit, the organisation has evolved to meet the burgeoning training needs of Singaporeans to continuously keep pace with the dynamic business economy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for courseware development on the topic of Event Planning and Management
- We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional developer to develop content for a three-day course
- Developed course proposal and training materials such as the Assessment Plan, Lesson Plan, Learner’s Guide, Facilitator’s Guide, and PowerPoint presentation
- The modules to be developed include:
- Features, functions, and equipment required for events setup
- Roles of venue personnel in the event
- Events regulations requirements and compliance
- Project management
- Coordination of events planning and management
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate preferably should possess experience in the management or implementation of plans for events.
- Relevant certification in the field of Learning & Development, such as DACE
- Able to combine both theoretical concepts and real-life experiences in the design of the curriculum
- Ability to create relevant activities for learners to ensure their transfer of learning
OTHER INFORMATION
- This is a 3-months contract basis
