Job Description
- As a senior level professional at the corporate lending department, grow and maintain good quality, stable and profitable portfolio of corporate lending.
- Source, create and maintain business relations with borrowers.
- Review, analyze, and monitor detailed financial and quantitative information of existing and potential borrowers regularly on a timely basis. Assess the creditworthiness, repayment capability, money laundering/sanctions risks and risk mitigating measures of individual credit in line with regulatory and internal requirements. Prepare necessary documents in accordance with internal procedures.
- Oversee and supervise customer due diligence process as necessary.
- Closely communicate with Japan Head Office with regard to the corporate lending and investment business and operations as below.
- Discuss and prepare the corporate lending business strategies.
- Report transactions and other necessary information.
- Obtain and maintain internal ratings of borrowers.
- Report and discuss corporate business strategies and transactions, credit analysis, customer due diligence, internal department control, and governance with the Senior Management. Support the Senior Management to make necessary decisions.
- Attend and present at the relevant committees as occasion arises.
- Work on other tasks and duties instructed by the Senior Management.
