Location: 50 Nanyang Ave
Working Hours: 11am – 9pm, 5 days a week
Salary: $2500 – $2600
Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Canteen Assistant, playing a crucial role in the daily operations of our busy university canteen kitchen (Halal).
Job Summary:
As a Canteen Service Assistant, you will be central to providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding food safety standards by assisting in food preparation, serving, and cash handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
- Assist in preparing meals following recipes with high quality and safety standards.
- Packaging and portioning food accurately for service or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Customer Service:
- Serve food to customers with a friendly demeanor.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Keep the dining area clean and well-stocked.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge in food preparation and cooking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
