Job Description

Your main job responsibility is to develop and plan early childhood programmes for infants in the centre:

  • Responsible for executing infant curriculum and activities with care and passion.
  • Evaluating and documenting infant development in all areas in accordance with the early years framework.
  • Carrying out infant observations, preparing portfolios, and planning resources/teaching aids.
  • Planning, creating, and maintaining learning corners and materials for infants and toddlers.
  • Communicating and working in partnership with Co-Infant Care Teachers, parents, and management.
  • Embracing the Centre’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
  • Planning and creating a SPARK-ready environment.

Requirements:

  • Must have attained Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY).
  • Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care (CIT) or Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) are also preferred.
  • At least GCE “N” level.
  • Registered with Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
  • Have a valid certificate in first aid recognized by ECDA.
  • Preferably have at least 2 years’ infant care experience in a pre-school setting.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills.
  • Possess classroom management skills and able to handle children’s temperaments.
  • Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute, and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons.
  • Working hours – 5-day week, with rostered duties on Saturday (half day), once per month. Rotational basis starting at 7 am and ending at 7 pm.
  • Candidate must be fully vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccinations.
