Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Purchasing and Logistic Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing support to our construction projects by managing the purchasing and logistic processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and managing the procurement process for construction materials and equipment.
- Coordinate the logistics of construction projects, including scheduling deliveries, tracking shipments, and arranging transportation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and orders.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and other necessary documents.
- Assist in project planning and budgeting by providing input on material costs and availability.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience in construction purchasing and logistics would be an advantage. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, is essential.
