Job Description
Position Summary
Independently handling design projects and developing naval architecture & hull design. Providing assistance in enhancing the skills and knowledge of team members to support their professional development.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Liaise with Owner/ Class/ External Designer for specific design requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Lead the team in general conceptual and basic design.
- Design and deliver tailored training programs, provide one-on-one coaching, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry practices.
- Perform naval architecture calculations such as speed performance prediction, stability/hydrostatic, scantling assessment, weight distribution, launching calculation, and more.
- Responsible for delivering project design drawings and documents.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Hull & Naval Architecture design.
- Good knowledge and skills in coaching and structural/naval architecture design.
- Familiar with GHS/NAPA/FEMAP/Autocad/MS Office.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
