Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety for all users during transportation to and from the Centre.
- Assist users with boarding and alighting from the van with lifter.
- To fasten safety belts & wheelchair securely for all users.
- Keep vehicle clean and tidy all the time.
- Keep proper maintenance of vehicle such as routine servicing, repairs etc & report if any issue.
- To assist in running errands such as collects and dispatches goods or documents to and from the centre when necessary.
- Attends to the general maintenance and repairs of the centre when necessary.
- Performs any other related tasks or duties as required and assigned by the Centre Manager, Administrator & Board of Management.
Requirements:
- A valid class 3 driving license.
- A clean driving records.
- Well route planning as and when with new client admit or discharge.
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods (Jurong / CCK / Bukit Batok).
- Familiarity with GPS application.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour).
- Caring and Compassion towards elderly.
