Job Description
- Prepare production drawing for wooden crates and associated parts, tools, test-jig, etc. using 3D CAD, Solidwork
- To create, revise or update existing drawings and engineering/operations documents
- Map manufacturing processes and create work instructions
- Perform detail engineering and produce bill of materials
- Perform mechanical structural calculations and/or finite element analysis
- Prepare documentation and cutting list
- Work closely with purchaser in the sourcing of key parts required for the fabrication
- To perform structural calculations and/or analysis
- Communicate engineering changes with Production supervisors
- To conduct training for operators
- To work with consultant/ external party on future automation projects
- To provide technical assistance on the procurement/fabrication of parts
