Job Description
An environmental technician is responsible for conducting fieldwork and laboratory analysis to assess and monitor the environmental impact of various projects. They collaborate closely with environmental scientists and engineers to gather samples, perform tests, and record data.
As an environmental technician, you will be required to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be involved in collecting soil, water, and air samples, as well as implementing monitoring systems and conducting site inspections.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating equipment, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also crucial for this role.
We are looking for candidates with a degree in environmental science, chemistry, or a related field. Previous experience in environmental monitoring, sampling techniques, and knowledge of relevant environmental regulations will be an advantage.
