Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Executive, Library Services. As an Executive, Library Services, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the operations of our library.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the library, including managing library staff and coordinating their work schedules.
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage the library budget and make recommendations for the procurement of library resources.
- Monitor and evaluate library services to ensure they meet the needs of our patrons.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in library services and implement relevant changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in library management, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of library systems and cataloging procedures.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
