Job Description
A Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems and equipment in order to ensure a safe and functional working environment. They are skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. The primary responsibilities include inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, performing routine maintenance, conducting repairs, and assisting with facility improvement projects. Additionally, the Facilities Technician is expected to keep accurate records of maintenance activities and coordinate with external contractors when necessary. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
