Job Description
A Finance Assistant is responsible for assisting the finance team in managing day-to-day financial tasks. This includes processing invoices, bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, and conducting basic financial analysis.
The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and basic knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency in spreadsheet software is also essential, as the Finance Assistant will be required to work with financial data and reports.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing invoices and recording financial transactions accurately
- Assisting with month-end financial close activities
- Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Conducting basic financial analysis and providing recommendations
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and budgets
