Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist the curriculum team at Academia Education Center to develop and enhance learning materials for students ranging from primary school to junior college
- Assist teachers with teaching and hosting lessons, whether on-site or online, including managing students in the classroom
- Assisting with marking and review of students’ work
- Interns are also given the freedom to develop engaging educational content to be delivered in print and/or digital platforms
Profile
- A strong background and proficiency in the English language is most important; English major will be especially welcome but not absolutely required. Undergraduates majoring in humanities and social sciences are also a good fit.
- A good work ethic and the ability to communicate effectively and manage the expectations not only of parents and students but also the teachers.
- Willingness and ability to work on weekends, minimum 2 workdays per week.
