Job Description
Astek has an opening for an IT Support Team Lead role. As the leader of the IT support and services function, you will be responsible for the operation of retail and back-office teams. You must have a proven track record in managing IT teams and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management and Coaching: Lead and coach the IT support team to deliver high-quality service, operational performance, and maximum uptime for retail and back-office teams.
- Project Management: Oversee the Point of Sale project, including maintenance, enhancements, and service uptime. Responsible for managing RFID systems, ensuring maintenance, enhancements, and service uptime. Also responsible for successful implementation of opening projects.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Organize support, troubleshooting, and repair activities for IT equipment and networks.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external IT vendors and oversee procurement activities.
Requirements:
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Extensive experience with computers and networks.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing IT support and services teams.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing network infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Point of Sale projects.
- Experience in managing service ticket resolution systems and adherence to SLAs.
- Familiarity with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Processes.
- Proficient in Windows and Mac OS.
- Experience with Linux is a plus.
- Proven project management experience with successful planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
