Job Description
It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF, an industry leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences, and sensorial experiences where science and creativity meet to create essential solutions for a better world. We are now seeking a motivated and results-driven talent to join us as a Lab Analyst.
Your Focus:
- Preparation of reagents, standards, and supplies for quality testing
- Perform analytical and microbiological testing for process and reporting of test results
- Responsible for contamination control including pursuing possible sources, problem-solving, and troubleshooting
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot basic lab equipment including pH meters, analytical balances, auto analyzers, HPLC, UV, Gallery Analyzer (enzymatic)
- Perform sampling and environmental monitoring (air and swab tests)
- Perform equipment calibration, verification testing, and maintenance
- Provide support to internal customers
- Participate actively in the training process
- Update and maintain the inventory records of chemicals and laboratory supplies accurately and promptly
- Responsible for maintaining the required lab SOPs and records
Requirements:
- Diploma in Biotechnology / Chemistry with at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory
- Good knowledge of GMP, Lab Hygiene, and Laboratory safety
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess a high degree of initiative, attention to detail, and self-motivation
- Willing to work in Tuas area and open to work in a 2-shift system in the future
Working Location: 2 Tuas Loop
Working hours: Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm), rotating Saturday
