Job Description
KBR is seeking a skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer with expertise in specialty rotating equipment for offshore projects. Your role will involve designing and selecting equipment like gas compressors and seawater pumps, ensuring compliance with international standards. You’ll prepare technical specifications, coordinate work with teams, evaluate bids, and participate in risk assessment studies.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 20 years of offshore project experience, and prior roles as Lead Engineer in EPC projects. Strong knowledge of ASME and API codes, along with excellent communication skills, are essential.
