Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated in-house Legal Counsel to support our legal and compliance functions.
What you’ll be doing:
Commercial Contracts:
- Take charge of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts related to token market-making, OTC trading, and new market expansion.
- Ensure contract compliance with relevant laws, especially in the cryptocurrency and financial sectors.
- Provide legal guidance to business teams during negotiations.
Employment Law:
- Draft and review employment contracts and offer legal expertise on hiring, employee relations, and terminations.
- Assist in employment dispute resolution and litigation matters.
General Legal Support:
- Offer legal assistance across various company areas including marketing, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
- LLB, LLM, or JD degree and admitted to the bar in at least one jurisdiction.
- Experience in legal practice with a focus on contracts, employment law, and compliance.
- Preferably with cryptocurrency industry experience or strong interest.
