Job Description

Manager / Senior Manager for Industrial and Workplace Relations (IWR)

The Singapore National Employers Federation is a trade union with over 3,400 corporate members. Our mission is to advance tripartism and a flexible labour market to enable companies to implement responsible employment practices even as industries transform.

As part of planning for our expansion, we are looking for people to strengthen the senior management team to lead the Federation in the future economy.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle phone/video calls, emails, and meetings with SNEF Members and/or Tripartite Partners professionally
  • Advise SNEF Members on issues of immediate level of difficulty
  • Collect and synthesize requisite data for analysis of human resource, industrial relations, and business issues for management reporting
  • Plan, organize, and execute the division’s events, including pre and post-event activities
  • Integrate new technology and/or new compliance requirements to optimize and safeguard the IWR Team’s operations and service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Singapore Employment laws, tripartite guidelines, and compliant practices
  • All the critical core skills under Skills Future Singapore Framework
  • Thinking critically – with emphasis on sense-making and transdisciplinary thinking
  • Interacting with others – with emphasis on communication and collaboration
  • Staying relevant – with emphasis on digital fluency and self-management
  • Minimum 5 years of recent and relevant work experience
