Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, and execution of materials for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective materials management strategies
- Collaborate with project managers to identify material requirements
- Source and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery time
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Track project budgets and expenditures related to materials
- Manage and resolve any material-related issues or conflicts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in materials management, preferably in a project-based environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management principles
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
