Job Description

Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.

The location is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Job Duties:

• Interpretation of internal and client requirements, supervising allocated staff, and being responsible for the day-to-day management of the relevant discipline and operating complex mechanical testing equipment
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records, performing other duties to fulfill the demands of the laboratory
• Performing general duties in accordance with Element’s internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
• Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment, report writing, data interpretation, and analysis

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials-related discipline
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous and have an understanding of a recognized Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
• Self-motivated Technician with the ability to multitask, organize, and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
• Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, a team player attitude, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
