A Nursing Aide provides essential assistance to nurses and other healthcare professionals in various medical settings. They play a crucial role in patient care and support, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for individuals in need of medical attention.
Responsibilities of a Nursing Aide typically include assisting with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and feeding patients. They also help with transferring and repositioning patients to prevent bedsores and provide basic medical support, such as checking vital signs and administering medication under the supervision of nurses.
In addition, Nursing Aides are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment, restocking supplies, and documenting patient conditions and activities.
