Job Description
NAKSU LOGISTICS PTE. LTD., a small-size Freight Forwarding company, is currently hiring for the position of Operations Executive. Our main business includes Sea Freight FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, and RORO.
- 5 days work week, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
- Enjoy a small, supportive, and flexible family-style work environment.
- Not required to wear excessive formal office attire on a daily basis.
- Experience a flexible and people-centric company management.
- Even before Covid, our staff are allowed to work from home on a rotation basis as long as they are accountable and able to perform their duties in a trustworthy and timely manner.
- This position is not suitable for completely fresh graduates due to our small company size and limited resources for training.
Hiring requirements:
- Able to handle freight and logistics operations coordination and paperwork independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be licensed to declare customs permits for export and imports.
- Familiarity and proficiency in using Sysfreight (sysmagic) system.
Job scope includes:
- Making FCL/LCL/RORO bookings with carriers and co-loaders.
- Liaising with clients on cargo consolidation.
- Liaising with vendors (i.e., transporters, hauliers, stuffing warehouses, etc.) on cargo readiness and/or deliveries.
- Liaising with overseas agents (e.g., sending pre-alerts, checking rates, etc.).
- Invoicing.
- General customer service duties such as communicating with clients, emailing BLs/DOs, arranging dispatch, etc.
