Job Description
A Perception Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing algorithms and systems that allow machines to understand and interpret their environment. They work closely with other engineers and researchers to design and optimize perception systems for various applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing algorithms for machine perception.
- Collaborating with software and hardware teams to integrate perception systems.
- Testing and debugging perception algorithms and systems.
- Optimizing performance and accuracy of perception systems.
- Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in perception technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in languages like C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Experience with computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of sensor fusion and data synchronization techniques.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
